The original members were Syd Barrett (1946-...), Roger Waters (1944-...), Richard Wright (1945-...), and Nick Mason (1945-...). Their albums include The Dark Side of the Moon 1973 and The Wall 1979, with its spin-off film starring Bob Geldof. They were the most successful group to emerge from London's hippie scene in the late 1960s.
